So, I have been thinking that I needed to start my blog again since I have had many changes in the last year and new discoveries! With one in school and 2 at home, I haven't found the "time" to update my blog. I have deleted everything from before except for 2 recipes that I love so I can start with a clean slate. I still want to post our favorite recipes and menu planning ideas but I also want to start discussing the WONDERFUL WORLD OF COUPONING!! No I am not crazy! They really do work! In April, I only spent $137 TOTAL in groceries & household items!!! It really adds up!
Tomorrow I am giving my first coupon workshop at our church. I am nervous but also excited! I find myself giving "mini" workshops all the time but this will be the first time I sit down and lay it all out on the table!
I have to give all the credit for what I now know about coupons and deal finding from Sarah Roe! She has a website MoneySavingQueen.com. She is out of Tulsa but she posts deals that can be used by anyone around the country! I am also a memeber on her forums which is also a great source of information! There are ladies (and some men) who post deals, match-ups, coupons & freebies that are available. The forum and the people on it have become my "coupon family"!! I have been able to make many friends thru the forum and I am happy to see that I am not the only coupon nut out there!

Very cool! I have two friends here who are big couponing shoppers. I am always amazed at what deals they get. I want to know more but haven't had time to really research. So I can learn through you. :) I am sure you will have a wonderful workshop!
